This Week in Meghan McCain Brings Us Anti-Abortion Rhetoric, Groundhog Eulogies, and Her Father

Politics

Meghan McCain knows how she was conceived, or she told Howard Stern as much during a week where the national assault on reproductive rights dominated the conversation on The View.

McCain is, of course, anti-abortion and had much to say in favor of the new restrictive legislation. Seconds after complaining that Alyssa Milano’s sex strike wasn’t considering the views of women with different opinions on reproductive rights, she wondered how anyone could possibly disagree with her (incorrect) opinion that abortion is murder.

Abortion wasn’t all that was on McCain’s mind this week, though. She also found time to mourn the groundhog that New York City mayor Bill DeBlasio dropped, found solace in Japan’s low birth rate, and name dropped her father at least three times.
