Donald Trump, a man I keep having to remind myself is still President of the United States, gave an interview at Davos on Sunday with ITV’s Piers Morgan (whom, for the sake of Jezebel’s longstanding Piers Morgan ban, I will not further address.) Trump uselessly bumbled his way through a wide range of topics—mostly climate change, but also Brexit, Fire & Fury, his eating habits, and the Royal wedding—but perhaps the most shocking part of the interview was when Trump revealed he launched his frequent tweetstorms not from his toilet, as I’ve oft-envisioned in a night terror, but from his bed.

“It’s a crazy situation,” Trump said when asked how he handles the world’s reaction to his tweets, which range from attacking Jay-Z for failing to acknowledge his “policies” that have allegedly helped lower “Black Unemployment” to retweeting anti-Muslim videos, to goading the equally unhinged North Korean dictator via name-calling. “Are you actually lying in bed with your phone working out how to wind everybody up?” Morgan asked him, and though Trump’s not always lying supine in the White House master bedroom while roiling foreign leaders, he is sometimes. “Well, perhaps sometimes in bed, perhaps sometimes at breakfast or lunch or whatever,” Trump said.

He also noted he posts quite a few of his own tweets himself, though staffers do occasionally step in (Wired has a piece on how to tell when someone else tweets for him.) “Generally speaking during the early morning, or during the evening I can do that,” he said re: posting his own tweets, which is good news for night reporters looking to earn cred with their employers by breaking, say, the onset of nuclear war, or one misspelled word that will live on interminably in Twitter bios declaring allegiance to the #Resistance.

Another fun tidbit from the Morgan interview? Trump is not, surprisingly, a feminist. “I wouldn’t say I’m a feminist. … I’m for women, I’m for men, I’m for everyone,” he said. “I have tremendous respect for women.” Hm, yes, indeed.
