After cable news types and other mainstream journalists stumbled over themselves to accommodate rightwing conspiracy theorists, a predictably self-righteous Sarah Sanders told on herself again.
“We have seen time and time again where they run out here with outrageous, ridiculous stories,” Sanders said on Fox News. “One person reports it to begin with and they all jump on it. We saw it again with the Covington students.”
Then, she added: “I’ve never seen people so happy to destroy a kid’s life.”
Now here is Sanders, a few months back, taking questions on the Trump administration’s family separation policy while getting in a few fun digs at the reporters in the briefing. She seems to be having a pretty good time:
You could point to an endless list of examples—policy after policy after policy—in which the “kids” didn’t much matter to Sanders. But those kids aren’t white, so they aren’t kids at all.
