How are we all doing? On Thursday night, just a mere 24-hours after we did exactly this with 400 other Democratic presidential candidates, we have on the debate stage: Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg, Kamala Harris, Kirsten Gillibrand, Michael Bennett, Marianne Williamson, Eric Swalwell, Andrew Yang, John Hickenlooper, and maybe three more men named John? (Just kidding, there is just the one John.)
It’s going to be a long one. Joe Biden is almost certainly going to be asked about his conduct with women, Marianne Williamson will bring vibes, and Eric Swalwell is going to make you think, “Wait, who is that again?” Best if we spend it together, right?
