Roy Moore's Wife: 'One Of Our Attorneys Is a Jew'

Just when you think there is nothing left in this life that could possibly shock you, the wife of Senate-hopeful and alleged child molester Roy Moore rolls up to a rally on Monday night—the day before Alabama’s hugely contentious special election—and drops this nugget.

“Fake news would tell you that we don’t care for Jews. But I’ll tell you all this because I see you all, I just want to set the record straight while they’re here: One of our attorneys is a Jew,” she said. “We have very close friends who are Jewish.”

The accusation was made last week in response to Moore’s oblique suggestion that billionaire Democratic donor George Soros was going to hell because he’s Jewish. Per Politico:

“No matter how much money he’s got, he’s still going to the same place that people who don’t recognize God and morality and accept his salvation are going,” Moore said of Soros in an interview on American Family Radio earlier this week. “And that’s not a good place.”

According to Talking Points Memo, Monday’s event was held in “an upscale barn.”
