Kayleigh McEnany—Trump bobblehead doll, former CNN commentator, and bona-fide Obama birther—has been hired by the Republican National Committee as its new national spokesperson.
McEnany has argued that, because Jay-Z has rapped the word “pussy” at political rallies, Hillary Clinton had no moral high ground over a candidate who who bragged about sexually assaulting women. In 2012, McEnany also demanded Barack Obama’s birth certificates and made the following “jokes” on Twitter:
This woman will now represent the GOP. “Kayleigh will be an integral part of our Party’s ongoing commitment to promoting the Republican message to Americans across the country,” said RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel in a press release. “Her wealth of experience will be invaluable to the RNC as we continue to support President Trump and build on our majorities in Congress as we head into 2018.”
Over the weekend, McEnany also broadcast the “real news” from Trump Tower, a 90-second segment of not-real news in which she sang the praises of Trump without mentioning the very embarrassing and insane leaked transcripts between Trump and two world leaders, or the Russia investigation.
“I’m eager to talk about Republican ideas and values and have important discussions about issues affecting Americans across this country,” she said in the statement, describing this as “such an important and historic time in our country.” She certainly has an interesting turn of phrase—I’ll give her that.
