Barf BagWelcome to Barf Bag, a daily politics roundup to help you sort through the chaotic Trumpian news cycle.

I’m still listening to the Trump press conference. I am TRULY going to barf.

Here’s all the shit we couldn’t cover today:

  • In the one glimmer of good news today: There’s a referendum on the November ballot in Florida that could reinstate the right to vote for 1.5 million people with felony convictions. This move could completely transform the electorate of the swing state forever. [New York Times]
  • Trump is still being wishy washy about whether or not he’ll fire Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. Make up your mind, man! [Politico]
  • Education Department officials will investigate claims of anti-Asian-American discrimination in Yale’s admissions. [NBC News]
  • A black teen in Texas was expelled for refusing to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. The Texas attorney general is siding with the school board, because we live in hell. [NY Daily News]
