Right after she was sworn in to office on Thursday, Representative Rashida Tlaib called Donald Trump a “motherfucker,” because he is a motherfucker. Almost immediately, Tlaib’s comments set off a firestorm of Very Serious Men who waved their hankies in the air, crying out that such language was inappropriate. Motherfuckers!

Like Tlaib, Campbell also faced hanky-waving backlash from Serious Men (in Canada). A former parliamentary secretary called Campbell’s tweet “simply unacceptable,” while the Toronto Sun wrote an editorial saying that Campbell’s comment was “unseemly.” Campbell then deleted the tweet and decided to write a decidedly much worse tweet, saying she was more “MAGA” compared to former Mexican President Vicente Fox. Motherfuck?
