In the last 24 hours, a round of women have accused bruised yam Donald Trump of sexual misconduct, including Jessica Leeds, who says Trump groped her on an airplane in the 1980s until she fled her seat to get away from him. Appearing on Fox Business Thursday, Trump fan Newt Gingrich was pretty sure that just sounded like “a bad airplane flight.”

Gingrich also said, bafflingly, that there’s “a big Trump and a little Trump, and the little Trump is frankly pathetic.” Huh?

Trump campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson had chosen a different route, claiming last night that the plane Leeds and Trump must have been riding on had fixed armrests. CNN’s aviation expert (yes, they have one) looked into it, and found that’s not true either.

What scrambling excuse shall we try to fling at the wall next, gang?

Newt Gingrich, a man who served one of his multiple wives with divorce papers while she was recovering from cancer, is a man eminently qualified to speak of Donald Trump’s character.
