Melania Trump's Communications Team Is Good at This

First Lady Melania Trump’s communications team, an excellent team, seems a little salty after Michelle Obama said Trump never reached out for advice or help as she settled into the role.

Obama sat down with ABC’s Robin Roberts in a series of interviews to promote her new autobiography, Becoming. In one clip, Roberts noted that former First Lady Laura Bush reached out to Obama and said that she’s just a phone call away if she needed any help. “You wrote about how you extended that same courtesy to Melania Trump,” said Roberts. “Has she reached out to you and asked for any help?”

“No,” Obama replied. “She hasn’t.”

CNN reached out to Trump’s director of communications, Stephanie Grisham, for comment. She wrote:

Mrs. Trump is a strong and independent woman who has been navigating her role as First Lady in her own way. When she needs advice on any issue, she seeks it from her professional team within the White House.
