Jared Kushner, Donald Trump’s adenoidal nitwit of a son-in-law and highly inexperienced political advisor, is registered to vote in the state of New York as a woman.
This teensy administrative mistake comes courtesy of Wired’s Ashley Feinberg, who reports that Jared Corey Kushner probably-accidentally checked the box marked “F” on the New York State voter registration form instead of the box, “M”, which lives right next to it. A simple mistake made by the tired eyes of a man who has probably spent many nights lying awake and wondering how he’d tell his big scary father-in-law that he wants to quit both Ivanka and the White House because both are much harder than he thought.
Wired speculates that the reason for this mix-up is likely because Kushner is not terrifically detail oriented and he’s probably not the sharpest tack in the box, either. In April, he omitted dozens of meetings and contacts with the Russians on his paperwork for security clearance, chalking it up to a “mistake.” In May, news broke that Kushner’s meeting with the Russians included a naive and astonishingly stupid request for a secret communication line between Trump’s transition team and the Kremlin. On Sunday, we the American people learned that Kushner used his private email to discuss important White House business matters— Kush, come on!!
The slip-up was initially discovered by American Bridge, a PAC that works to hold Republican lawmakers accountable for their actions. Spokesperson Brad Bainum told Wired, ““Kushner can’t even fill out the most basic paperwork without screwing it up, so it’s a mystery why anyone thinks he’s somehow going to bring peace to the Middle East. Would anyone but the president’s son-in-law still have a West Wing job after repeated disclosure errors and a botched a security clearance form?”
Details are not this administration’s strong suit, but it’s extremely reassuring that Jared Kushner is the man trusted by the president to broker peace in the Middle East. Makes me feel very safe, secure, and comfortable. I love America.
