It was me. I am the adult who must fight in the shadows to try and stop the president from being rude.
He talks weird in meetings and is occasionally loco bananas. He also seems dumb, in private. All of this would be way worse if it were not for heroes—other senior administration officials and also me. But don’t get me wrong. There are bright spots: I like how he does war and stealing from poor people. I wrote the op-ed anonymously because I was scared and cry every night.
