Hey, Someone Spit on Eric Trump!

On Tuesday night, a brave woman and employee at a cocktail bar in Chicago performed an incredible act of heroism: she spat at Eric Trump.

In an interview with Breitbart on Tuesday night, the Tiffany Trump of the Trump sons described being spat upon as “a disgusting act by somebody who clearly has emotional problems,” which is a little overblown, Eric!

He continued: “For a party that preaches tolerance, this once again demonstrates they have very little civility. When somebody is sick enough to resort to spitting on someone, it just emphasizes a sickness and desperation and the fact that we’re winning.”

While it is likely that the spitting was an act of political protest (Breitbart reports that she “murmured inaudibly something that sounded like it was anti-Trump”), there could have been any number of reasons the woman spat at him. Perhaps he’s a bad tipper? Maybe she took one look at his shark-like smile and the extreme amount of revulsion compelled her to hock a loogie?

According to the Associated Press, the woman was taken into custody by the Secret Service, but released shortly after. Trump reportedly did not press charges.
