Here's Your Last-Minute Guide to the Canadian Election, Courtesy of Last Week Tonight

Today, Canadians will head to the polls for a nationwide federal election. If you’ve been ignoring our neighbors to the north in order to keep up with whatever nonsense falls out of Trump’s mouth, you can bring yourself up to speed with this primer from John Oliver and Last Week Tonight.

Of course the segment features a dude who pissed in somebody’s coffee cup. But mainly it’s about good old stop-your-heart-with-boredom-and-restart-it-with-outrage PM Stephen Harper. Oh, and Oliver caps it all off by bringing out a beaver playing a keyboard, a moose getting a colonoscopy, and Mike Meyers dressed as a mountie, all in the service of breaking Canadian election law.
