Not to worry—I’ve taken on the task of explaining what you need to know about each of the 2020 candidates in 60 seconds or less.

Kamala Harris, senator from California, often pitches herself as a “progressive prosecutor,” which is in many ways a rebrand of her actual record. She started her campaign in January as a frontrunner, slipped behind in early polls, but saw a surge of support after the first Democratic debate. Can she hold onto this momentum for the one million years until the election?
