Donald Trump Would Support Registry for Muslim-Americans; A Literal Fascist Now Leading GOP Polls

Politics

In the summer of 1938, the Hitler regime began requiring Jews to carry identification cards identifying their religion, and carry passports stamped with the letter J. In 2015, Donald Trump, a dishrag that on closer inspection is alive with maggots, told Yahoo that he would be looking “very, very carefully” at mosques in his presidency, and wouldn’t be opposed to creating a registry of Muslim citizens.

Trump told Yahoo a number of batshit things during a November 17 interview, including, as he put it, that fact that in a Trump Era, we’ll need to start doing “things that we never did before.” You know, civil liberties-crushing, religious discrimination things:

“Some people are going to be upset about it, but I think that now everybody is feeling that security is going to rule,” Trump said.
“Certain things will be done that we never thought would happen in this country in terms of information and learning about the enemy,” he added. “We’re going to have to do things that were frankly unthinkable a year ago.

Yahoo asked, they say, “whether this level of tracking might require registering Muslims in a database or giving them a form of special identification that noted their religion.” Trump responded, hey sure, good call:

“We’re going to have to — we’re going to have to look at a lot of things very closely,” Trump said when presented with the idea. “We’re going to have to look at the mosques. We’re going to have to look very, very carefully.”

There’s a word for this kind of authoritarian, right-wing, totalitarian government. What is it. What could it be.
