On Monday, swollen earthworm gizzard Donald Trump posted a short Instagram video in which interviews with women who allege that former President Bill Clinton assaulted them are spliced together with Hillary Clinton’s laughter, coupled with a question: Is Hillary really protecting women? The ad is exploitive, foul, deceptive, poorly constructed, and perfectly on-brand for the troll candidate.

Talking Points Memo identified the women featured as Monica Lewinsky speaking to a grand jury, Kathleen Wiley, a one-time White House volunteer who claimed that Clinton assaulted her in the White House in 1993, and Juanita Broaddrick, a nursing home administrator who said that Clinton raped her in 1978.

Trump, one of the great misogynists in history, has gone all in on a gender-based campaign against Hillary, accusing her of playing the “woman’s card,” lacking “strength” and “stamina,” and most recently, of her husband of being a rapist and Hillary of being complicit.

“Trump is doing what he does best—attacking when he feels wounded and dragging the American people through the mud for his own gain,” said Clinton campaign spokesperson Nick Merrill in a statement following Trump’s most recent attack.

“If that’s the kind of campaign he wants to run, that’s his choice.”
