In response to a question about Donald Trump calling him a “sleeping son of a bitch” at a congressional campaign rally in Pennsylvania, the Meet the Press host, for some reason, told the NBC-affiliate News4 that he bans his children from speaking freely about the president.

“I bring my kids up to respect the office of the presidency and the president.” He added that he does not allow his 11-year old and 14-year-old “to say anything negative, ever, about the president.”
