Carly Fiorina: People Who Say I'm a Bad Person Are Liars

Politics

On Sunday evening, the Washington Post reported that presidential hopeful Carly Fiorina had neglected to pay her 2010 Senate campaign staffers as much as $500,000, even after quickly reimbursing the $1.3 million she personally put into the campaign.

Monday afternoon, Fiorina kind of responded to the article, saying, “You know I don’t think the Washington Post has much credibility anymore.”

In response to a quote from former campaign manager Martin Wilson in which he describes unsuccessfully trying to get her to pay staffers, she said, “I have no idea what you’re talking about — I’m sorry.”

“All of our debt was paid off and everyone was paid,” she concluded redundantly.
