Bernie Sanders Supporters Boo Bernie Sanders For Telling Them It's Time to Elect Hillary Clinton

I guess this was as inevitable as it is ironic: Bernie Sanders supporters booed Bernie Sanders at a rally in Philadelphia Monday, after he told them it was time to work to elect Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine. In the video above, you can hear them booing quite a lot.

“Brothers and sisters, this is the real world that we live in,” Sanders told the crowd. “Trump is a bully and a demagogue. Trump has made bigotry and hatred a cornerstone of his campaign.”

That apparently didn’t do the trick:

Earlier in the rally, supporters also cheered mightily for the resignation of Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who stepped down as DNC chair Sunday, and who was herself booed this morning.

The DNC is already very exciting, albeit frankly terrifying in its own way.

And there it is. It is no longer about Sanders, if it ever was. It's just about your precious unsustainable imaginary future and not the hard god damn work it's going to take to get there. Privilege plain and simple, what will it hurt if Trump gets elected? They won't feel any pain from his insanity.
