Petulant toddler Donald Trump is reportedly seeking vengeance against the entire state of Alaska because Sen. Lisa Murkowski voted against Tuesday’s motion to proceed debate on a bill that will likely strip millions of Americans of healthcare.

After Trump expressed his displeasure on Twitter, Interior Minister Ryan Zinke called both Murkowski and Alaska Sen. Dan Sullivan “letting them know the vote had put Alaska’s future with the administration in jeopardy,” reports Alaska Dispatch News.

“I’m not going to go into the details, but I fear that the strong economic growth, pro-energy, pro-mining, pro-jobs and personnel from Alaska who are part of those policies are going to stop,” Sullivan told ADN.

“I tried to push back on behalf of all Alaskans,” he continued. “We’re facing some difficult times and there’s a lot of enthusiasm for the policies that Secretary Zinke and the president have been talking about with regard to our economy. But the message was pretty clear.”

Alaskans are at risk of losing drilling opportunities, nominations to jobs in the Department of the Interior, and other infrastructure and regulatory projects prioritized by Sullivan and Murkowski.

Sullivan says that Zinke also called Murkowski, but she did not offer a comment to ADN. On Wednesday, when asked to respond to Trump’s tweet by a reporter, she brushed it aside. “We’re here to govern. We’re here to legislate. We’re here to represent the people who sent us here,” she said. “And so every day shouldn’t be about campaigning. Every day shouldn’t be about winning elections. How about just doing a little bit of governing around here? That’s what I’m here for.”

So, to recap: The president is bullying legislators and Americans for participating in the democratic process because their votes run counter to his desires, which are to watch them suffer without basic access to healthcare. Democracy is fine, everything is fine.
