Katy Perry Set to Rally Supporters for Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton superfan Katy Perry will appear in support of the presidential candidate at the upcoming Jefferson-Jackson dinner, an annual fundraising dinner for the Iowa Democratic Party.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Perry will rally Clinton supporters before the event, which will take place on October 24, in Des Moines, Iowa. Perry has been vocal about her approval for Clinton in the past. During the former Secretary of State’s 2014 book signing for her memoir, Hard Choices, Perry shared a photo of the two and offered to write Clinton’s campaign theme song.

Perry, who is currently on the last part of her year-and-a-half long Prism tour, is not the only pop star co-signing Clinton’s presidential run. Fellow singer Christina Aguilera and her producer fiancé Matthew Rutler will be hosting her last big fundraiser of the year at their Los Angeles home on November 4.
